Do you support my device?

What is the significance of the “Close All Applications?” dialog that appears sometimes during the Update process on 2nd edition handsets?
How do I tell whether an update was successful? (Symbian S60 2nd Ed.)
Early releases of UMU Scan prior to 1.12.01 do not indicate whether an update has been successful so if UMU Scan is re-launched following the update the likelihood is that the virus database has been updated. If, instead of UMU Scan being launched the Installer is invoked, then new software has been downloaded. After the Installer has run if the software version number is unchanged or you suspect the Installer has failed then launch the Application Manager and look for an un-installed version of UMU Scan. See the FAQ “How do I re-install a software update if the install process failed?” for details of this process.
How do I tell which version of software is installed?
How do I re-install a software update if the install process failed? (Symbian S60 2nd Ed.)
